About the art work

The sculptures do not attempt to replicate any given manufactured vehicle or scale. The artist does not work from existing plans or photographs, each work is an original hand made creation. The sculpture is a ‘laid up’ construction process utilizing hard and soft woods, found objects and is hand finished with many coats of enamels and standings to achieve the aged patina quality.

Lou acquired much of his mechanical knowledge working on assembly lines of Detroit’s truck factories and as an aircraft mechanic. He has also been an exhibiting award-winning artist in hundreds of juried art shows across the United States.

Terms

Purchasing can be arranged in one of three methods, Credit cards, Certified checks or Money Orders. Shipments will be made within one (1) week of receipt of your payment. Florida residents must include State Tax (7%). You will be advised of the, S&H, Insurance and packaging costs at the time of ordering. We ship using Federal Express or UPS, you may select the carrier or suggest an alternate.
